The Low Vision clinic is jointly run by the Diabetes and Ophthalmology Departments to assess patients’ needs and provide necessary equipment to enable them to maintain total independence. Referrals are made directly to the Diabetes Specialist Nurse or Optometrist.
The clinic runs on the first Thursday of alternate month at the Diabetes centre, Heartlands Hospital & first friday of alternate months at Solihull hospital.
